Results
This Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) is comprised of duplex senior villas and single family homes. Set on a 37 acre site, the senior community is well-landscaped with walking paths, a gazebo and a community center that is the hub of resident activities.
There are seven building styles for the for-sale homes from which buyers with incomes between 50% and 115% of median income can choose. All, but one model, are two stories and the single story model is fully accessible. Houses range from 1200 to 1450 SF and have front porches, three bedrooms, two baths, electric ranges, gas hot water and heat and off street parking. All of the homes meet the requirements for North Carolina Advanced Energy Program.
Among the recreational facilities is the YMCA with its state of the art fitness center and a gymnasium as well as the baseball and soccer fields, all of which were renovated and refurbished by Landex as part of the redevelopment. The Y also operates a Day Care Center and the property boasts a three tee practice golf course for its residents.
